By using say sauce instead of salt, you reduce the intake of salt by up to 50%. Research has shown that the food doesn’t lose its taste and appeal even if the entire amount of salt would be replaced with soy sauce.
The reason for that lies in a high content of umami that soy sauce possesses. It naturally enriches the flavor of many dishes and ingredients, especially meat and fish. Today, you can very easily enhance the flavor of your menu by excluding salt and adding soy sauce made with natural boiling methods. We recommend the soy sauce created with 43% or less salt to all users who, out of health or other concerns have limitations in terms of recommended daily salt consumption.
